For the twelfth consecutive year, stock exchanges around the world are marking International Women’s Day, March 8, through the global initiative “Ring the Bell for Gender Equality”, highlighting the role of the business and financial sector in advancing gender equality.
Belgrade Stock Exchange participated again this year for the eighth time in this initiative, together with its partners, reaffirming its commitment to the principles of responsible and inclusive business.
On March 20, 2026, the “Ring the Bell for Gender Equality” event was held, during which the symbolic ringing of the opening bell drew attention to the importance of equal opportunities, women’s economic empowerment, and the elimination of discrimination.
The central part of the event was a panel discussion on the gender pay gap and the role of transparency and responsible leadership in building a fairer and more inclusive business environment.
