04.09.2026.Kodar Energomontaža corporate bonds now listed on the Belgrade Stock Exchange Open Market
Following the successful primary offering of the first corporate bond issue by Kodar Energomontaža d.o.o. Beograd on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, the bonds have today been admitted to trading on the secondary market, within the Open Market of the Belgrade Stock Exchange.
To mark the occasion, the Belgrade Stock Exchange organized a “Ring the Bell” ceremony, symbolically marking the start of trading.
The proceeds raised through the primary offering of the bonds will be allocated to two strategic renewable energy projects, in accordance with the company’s Green Bond Framework and the ICMA Green Bond Principles.
Kodar Energomontaža is the third company, following Elixir Group and Fashion Company, to successfully complete a corporate bond issuance under the program implemented with the support of the World Bank through the “Market-Relevant Roadmap” initiative, aimed at developing the corporate bond market as an important source of long-term financing for domestic companies.
Corporate bonds are becoming increasingly important as an alternative to traditional bank financing, enabling companies to diversify their sources of funding and secure long-term capital for project implementation. Financing terms can be tailored to a company’s needs and development objectives, providing greater flexibility for its future growth.
The admission of Kodar Energomontaža’s bonds to trading confirms the growing role of the capital market in financing domestic companies. Together with the bond issues of Elixir Group and Fashion Company, this transaction represents another important step in the development of the corporate bond market and the expansion of available sources of long-term capital for the Serbian economy.
