As of Monday, 14th September 2009, Sinteza Invest Group a.d Beograd will start performing market-making operations for shares of the issuer Sojaprotein a.d. Bečej (SJPT).
The broker-dealer company Sinteza Invest Group a.d. Beograd has been a member of the Belgrade Stock Exchange since 22.02.2003. After having the largest percentage share in trading in 2008, Sinteza continues to be one of the most active participants on the Belgrade Stock Exchange in 2009, accounting for over 9% of the realized turnover.
Sinteza Invest Group a.d. Beograd will be the first Exchange member having the market-market status for two securities simultaneously. After successfully performing market-making operations for shares of Veterinarski zavod a.d. Subotica (VZAS), Sinteza Invest Group made a significant step forward by taking upon itself the obligation to improve trading in one of the most liquid securities on the BSE Prime Market – Sojaprotein from Bečej.
Sojaprotein a.d. Bečej is a soya processing company, with the processing capacity of nearly 300,000 soybean tons a year and the product diversity and quality which makes it one of the most significant producers in this field in Central and South-East Europe. Their core activity is processing of soyabeans, other activities including agricultural production, storage, retail and wholesale, purchase of agricultural products, export and import, etc.
The shares of the issuer Sojaprotein a.d. Bečej have been traded on the Belgrade Stock Exchange Prime Market since 26.10.2007 and have been contained in the index basket of the BSE leading index – BELEX 15 since its launching.
