The Third Investors Conference „SEE Regional Capital Markets Conference” organized by the stock exchanges from Ljubljana, Zagreb, Sarajevo, Banja Luka, Podgorica, Skopje and Belgrade will be held on May 21, 2009, in the Belgrade Continental Hotel. The event will be attended by representatives of 22 companies from participant countries and around 50 investment companies (broker-dealer companies, funds and banks) from the region and Western and Central Europe.
The Conference will be organized in cooperation with Raiffeisen Bank from Belgrade and Raiffiesen Centrobank from Vienna, and in addition to company presentations there will be over 100 individual meetings between company representatives and investors. The Conference is intended to promote regional capital markets and leading issuers of securities, as well as to improve relations between investors and companies.
The following companies whose shares are traded on the Belgrade Stock Exchange will participate in the Belgrade Roadshow: Tigar a.d. Pirot, Energoprojekt holding a.d. Beograd, Sojaprotein a.d. Bečej, Alfa plam a.d. Vranje, Komercijalna banka a.d. Beograd, Imlek a.d. Beograd and Metalac a.d. Gornji Milanovac.
The promotion of regional capital markets and issuers is carried out according to the Memorandum on Cooperation signed in December 2007, whose purpose, in addition to the organization of joint conferences of investors, is the creation of joint indices and other forms of promotion of the signees.
