On May 15, 2009, the index of the most liquid Serbian shares BELEX15 hit 571,28 points, the highest in 2009. Also, the closing value of BELEX15 today of 563,76 points is the record closing value so far this year.
After substantial losses posted by BELEX15 in the first quartal of 2009 (-32.62%), we are pleased to say that, with a prevailingly upward trend in April and particularly with a strong rise in May, this index, i.e. the constituent shares, managed to annul the losses made since the beginning of the year, regaining the values from November and December 2008.
