As of 25 January, the BELEX FIX API module is used by 19 broker-dealer companies and banks. The BELEX FIX API module enables the BSE members to use self-developed trading applications, which are fully adjusted to their own needs. The module, among other things, allows the BSE members to place a considerably larger number of trading orders, which positively affects the trading volume, as well as the liquidity of the whole market. The FIX API technically facilitates entering of orders into the BSE trading system, as orders, previously approved by a broker, are directly sent by clients via the internet.
